We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the NSW Department of Education through the STEM Industry Schools Partnership (SISP) Program
. The aim of the SISP program is to be the most influential educational STEM program in New South Wales, to inspire rural and regional school students to study STEM in greater numbers than ever, to build teacher confidence and capacity to deliver integrated STEM education programs and to directly impact the growth and readiness of the STEM workforce for current and future industries.
Through this partnership, alongside our many industry leading partners including ARUP, Multiplex, Richard Crookes Construction and 3XN we will work to embed the Quay Quarter Sydney development into classrooms to provide the next generation with STEM experience, while sharing our knowledge and expertise in innovation to students.
Dr Scott Sleap, Program Leader of SISP, said “the involvement of Quay Quarter Sydney, alongside their partners, will enable students to learn from word-class, Australian projects, providing students with inspiring and stimulating real-world experience, which is exciting for all involved.”
We kick-started this partnership with a presentation at the STEM 2020 On Demand Conference
held virtually on Monday 27 April presenting alongside some of our impressive partners including 3XN and ARUP.
