Community Update

Welcome to the Quay Quarter community information hub. This is where you will find all the latest news and information about the development.

We believe in working openly and transparently with the community and want to keep you informed about the progress of the development.
As committed supporters of public art for more than a century, AMP Capital is proud to have engaged three contemporary Australian illustrators to participate in the City of Sydney’s creative hoardings program. Craig & Karl, Webuyyourkids and Karan Singh were given the opportunity to interpret transformation in all its guises—from retail to dining, the workplace and Circular Quay.

Each piece created by these internationally renowned illustrators demonstrates a distinctly unique approach to this transformation. Their work brings to the streets of Sydney a dynamic use of colour and movement, enlivening our cityscape for all to share. Artworks have been created by Karan Singh, Webuyyourkids, and Craig&Karl. AMP Capital is looking forward to unveiling the hoarding in the coming weeks.

Quay Quarter will provide a range of everyday services to both local residents and workers. These services will range from a supermarket, food and other retail through to dry cleaners and pharmacies.

Until the development is completed in 2022, we have created a local amenity guide to help you access services around the Quay Quarter neighbourhood.

Due to some of the upcoming work requiring closures to Bus Layovers, there will be temporary changes to bus services to and from Circular Quay. Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) has provided the details of temporary bus stop closures. The details of the temporary closures can be accessed by calling 131 500 or by visiting https://transportnsw.info/trip#/
