Modern Sydney Live Panel

As you know, we pride ourselves on maintaining close relationships with our neighbours.  For more than 20 years Sydney Living Museums has been enabling the public to go inside landmark buildings, view skylines, experience immaculate architecture and gain access to otherwise closed off spaces. This year was no exception with the program going digital and engaging audiences worldwide.

Our very own Michael Wheatley participated in a live panel alongside Rebecca Hawcroft, Annalisa Capurro and Peter Lonergan excellently moderated by Frank Howarth in what was a vigorous debate on what makes a building important enough to conserve and the battles often involved in defining a building's value.

Between the experienced and knowledgeable panel the unique mix of Sydney’s architectural styles were discussed and debated, delivering interesting and educational viewing for those of us tuned in at home.

Please watch the panel below. See below to watch the panel. You can also visit Sydney Open to watch the other live panels which focused on New Heritage and The Future of Sydney.
